The trouble with space travel.

Space is big.  Real big.  And after you leave Earth, there are no signs of civilization.  Nothing...no houses, no cars, no corner grocery stores, no plants, no rivers, no lakes, and no fish.  It's bleak.  Completely inhospitable. And you can die easily at any moment.
